JOB SEARCH RESPONSIBILITY:

The client agrees that while Storeyline Resumes will provide tools, ideas, advice, and commercially available data, we cannot be responsible for changing market conditions, job posting changes, or a client’s aggressiveness, attitude, and willingness to implement their action plan.  NO VERBAL OR WRITTEN PROMISE OR GUARANTEE OF ANY JOB, COMPENSATION OR EMPLOYMENT IS MADE OR IMPLIED UNDER THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT. Your success in the job market is solely your responsibility and the effectiveness of our services depends on the your commitment to implementing advice and strategies discussed.

The client agrees that job placement support and unlimited coaching can be utilized from the purchase date until the earlier of 12 months or until you transition into your next role. A “transition” is defined as a new position, board seat, consulting, retiring, etc.

Your service includes professionally written documents also known as marketing and branding documents and/or career development sessions. As the client, you are responsible for reviewing your branding documents for completeness and accuracy. We work with you through the document edit phase before finalization. As the client, it is your responsibility to review and approve your documents before using them.

REVISION POLICY:

The services provided by Storeyline Resumes includes an edit process, and we will work to meet your reasonable satisfaction and approval before finalizing the resume package. A revision is defined as minor when changes to the text or shifts in the content are slight and/or still directed towards the same job roles/industry/etc. Substantial changes, for example, a change of job focus, strategy, target audience, or anything that requires completely rethinking or re-strategizing are considered a rewrite and will incur extra charges.

Rough drafts of the documents will focus on the information presented by you, the client. This can be in the form of supporting documents, discovery calls, and/or the initial consultation. Any edits requested on or after the final version is delivered will be charged a revision fee. The fee will be determined based on the details of the request.

Storeyline Resumes is not liable for any damage whatsoever caused by omissions, false statements, or inaccuracies in career documents. 

REFUND POLICY:

No Refunds Once Homework is Submitted:

After homework is submitted, no refunds will be issued.  Fees for the preparation of career documents are non-refundable, as Storeyline Resumes provides custom services for each client. The non-refundable payment covers the development of customized interview questions, career documents and/or other services. Services include client consultation or coaching, writing, and editorial services, design, layout, editing and proofreading, and finalization of such documents are intellectual property and take a significant amount of time to prepare and complete, which cannot be recouped.

You understand and agree that the time spent reviewing initial documents, and/or preparing for and conducting client interviews, and/or communicating with you, and/or preparing resumes and other documents, and/or providing all other products and services, is compensable at the rate charged by Storeyline Resumes. 

You acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be given for failure to secure employment or failure to receive an interview from a prospective employer.  Storeyline Resumes has no control over the interview and employment process and makes no guarantees or promises regarding your job search.

However, in lieu of a refund, we may offer a credit toward future work in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Storeyline Resumes. 

Because Storeyline Resumes takes client satisfaction very seriously, it is our policy to work with you until you are satisfied with your documents and services. We built our brand on referrals and word-of-mouth from happy clients. Let us know what we need to do to ensure we accomplish that goal.

Refunds will be issued under the following limited circumstances only:

• Full Refund:  If payment is received and services are requested to be cancelled more than 48 hours prior to a scheduled interview, we will issue a full refund. 

• Partial Refund:  If services are requested to be cancelled, either: (a) less than 48 hours before a scheduled interview, or (b) after the interview is conducted but before homework is submitted, we will issue a refund, less a $75.00 fee. 

• Unused or Inactive Projects: We will honor your order for up to one (1) year from the date of purchase. If you do not finalize your package or engage with our program within one (1) year, your order will be closed and the package will be considered final.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL STOREYLINE RESUMES, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, EDITORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION COMPENSATORY, DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF INCOME OR DATA, LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.  

WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY OF ANY KIND FOR ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF YOUR PERSONALLY-IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION. BY USING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO OUR DISCLAIMER OF ANY SUCH LIABILITY.

INDEMNITY:

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Storeyline Resumes, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, actions, or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising from your use of our services or your breach of the terms of this Terms and Conditions.  

CONFIDENTIALITY:

We respect the confidentiality of client information. However, confidentiality may be subject to legal exceptions, including but not limited to: (i) compliance with court orders or legal obligations; (ii) situations involving potential harm to the client or others; and/or (iii) reporting requirements under applicable laws and company policies; provided further that Storeyline Resumes reserves the right to use and share information with its affiliates. 

We take reasonable measures to protect client information but cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality in electronic communications.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

All materials, strategies, templates, and content provided during coaching sessions remain the intellectual property of Storeyline Resumes unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may use these materials for personal use but may not distribute, resell, or reproduce them for commercial purposes.

VENUE AND GOVERNING LAW:  

You agree that any legal dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be filed in the Court of Common Pleas of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.   

The Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and will be interpreted in accordance with Pennsylvania law.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Survival of Provisions. The fee provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall survive termination of this Agreement for whatever cause, including, but not limited to the mutual agreement to terminate this Agreement by both parties hereto.

Conflicts of Interest. Storeyline Resumes is committed to transparency and ethical practices. If a conflict of interest arises that could affect the objectivity of our services, we will disclose it to the client and discuss appropriate next steps.

Affiliate Disclosures. At times, we may recommend third-party products or services that we believe are beneficial to clients, including those that may be offered by affiliates of Storeyline Resumes. Some of these recommendations may result in Storeyline Resumes receiving a commission if a client utilizes such services or products. However, we only recommend resources that we genuinely believe add value.

Nature of Services. Storeyline Resumes' services are not a replacement for legal, therapeutic, financial, medical, or mental health advice and will not:

(1) procure or attempt to procure any employment, business or sales for you, (2) perform any business management functions such as accounting services, advice on tax matters or the investment of funds, and (3) will not act as a therapist, counseling you or providing psychoanalysis, group therapy or behavioral therapy. You further understand and agree that as a specialized form of consulting, coaching is not the same as professional or licensed therapy and that you are always free to reject any advice, suggestions or requests made by Storeyline Resumes at any time. 

You should seek appropriate professional assistance for matters requiring expertise outside the scope of the services described herein.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions. Storeyline Resumes may review and update these Terms and Conditions at any time in our sole discretion and it is your responsibility to stay informed of those changes. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all uses of our services thereafter. Your continued use of the services following the posting of revised Terms and Conditions means that you accept and agree to be bound by the changes. 

Titles/Headings. The headings and titles of sections to these Terms and Conditions have been inserted for the convenience of reference for the parties and are for informational purposes only and shall not be deemed to be a part of the language of this Agreement. Neither you nor Storeyline Resumes shall rely on, or interpret substantively, the headings when construing the meaning of each section or the Agreement as a whole 

Disclaimers. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date career advice, the job market, hiring trends, and external resources are subject to change. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of third-party information referenced during the course of providing our services.

Storeyline Resumes reserves the right to refuse service, terminate a client relationship, or otherwise cancel orders at their sole discretion. Storeyline Resumes reserves the right to terminate services if a client engages in unethical behavior, harassment, or non-compliance with these terms. Storeyline Resumes will not refund the purchase price of any service under any circumstances after we commence preparing your resume, as set forth in our refund policy.   However, we will make a reasonable effort to satisfy every client. 

By engaging with Storeyline Resumes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
